City and Eastern Sydney – Stop Abuse of Older People Collaborative

The Stop Abuse of Older People Collaborative has recently unveiled a significant resource titled “Suspect Abuse or Neglect of an Older Person? What You Need to Know.” This valuable tool results from dedicated efforts from various collaborative members, including Waverley Council, War Memorial Hospital – Geriatric Medicine, Justice Connect, and JNC. It marks a positive and impactful beginning to 2024.

Looking forward, the Collaborative will assemble on February 24 to chart an activity plan for the upcoming year. If you are interested in contributing to this vital network, please contact us. We welcome your participation as we collectively work towards addressing and combating the abuse and neglect of older individuals in our community.

We’ve updated our Eastern Sydney and Suburbs of Sydney Home Support Services brochure with the most up-to-date Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) services that support older people living in the City of Sydney, Woollahra, Waverley, Randwick, and Bayside local council areas.
