The Waterloo Collaborative Action Plan
The Waterloo Collaborative agreed an an Action Plan in October 2021. That plan details the areas that the Collaborative has decided to focus upon. The areas of focus are across multiple agencies. The Collaborative also decided on priorities for implementation and recorded these in an Implementation Plan. The Collaborative’s Coordination Groups are overseeing this implementation both by their own work and that of implementation groups specifically set up to undertake the work in parts of the Action Plan. As this implementation takes place new resources and actions are likely to eventuate. The Collaborative meetings also deal with any issues that might be considered important but may not fit directly within the Action Plan.
The DCJ and SLHD Addendums
These Plans are individual agency plans that have grown out of meetings between Groundswell NGO and either DCJ or SLHD. These plans deal just with work that is being undertaken by DCJ or SLHD. These addendums change over time as new issues are added, issues unpacked and implemented, initiatives are completed or become business as usual.
LAHC Human Services planning connected to the Waterloo Redevelopment
NSW Land and Housing Corporation (LAHC) are responsible for planning the redevelopment of the Waterloo Public Housing Estate. Independently of the Collaborative they are planning for services around relocations and service delivery to social housing tenants after the redevelopment.
In this section of the Website we provide further details about these plans.
