Terms of Reference and Governance overview

The Waterloo Human Services Collaborative has agreed governance documents that guide our work. To provide transparency of our activities we are providing our main documents so they are easily accessible to everyone interested in the governance of our human services collaborative in Waterloo.

They provide a framework for decision-making and help guide our actions and behaviours towards a common goal of providing efficient, effective and equitable services to our community.

Structure of the Collaborative and Coordination Groups

Below is an overview of our structure and the terms reference for each group

The Waterloo Human Services Collaborative Terms of Reference

This is the main governance document agreed by member organisations. The Terms of Reference was agreed in December 2020 when the Collaborative was formed.

Terms of Reference for the Coordination Groups

In May 2021 the Collaborative formed two Coordination Groups to develop different sections of an Action Plan to address the issues that had been identified. Below are the Terms of Reference for these two Groups.
